Biography Since September 2009, he had been working for the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), in Brazil, teaching sociology and agricultural policies to both graduate and undergraduate students. His initial professional experience dates back to 2003, when he began working for the Center for International Forestry Research (Cifor), in Belém (Brazil) with short stays in Bogor (Indonesia). His duties included carrying out field research on non-timber forest products and implementing development projects supporting local communities. In 2005, he started his doctorate in Freiburg (Germany) on community forestry, doing long-term field research in the Peruvian, Bolivian and Brazilian Amazon as part of a multidisciplinary and international team. He then started working for the Brazilian government coordinating a program for land titling. In 2014, he concluded a one year post-doctoral stage at Imperial College London, doing field research with farmers in the UK on agricultural policies. He is currently coordinating UFG’s Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness (PPAGRO)https://ppagro.agro.ufg.br/. Biography Pawan Kumar Chugan is a professor of international business in the general management area at the Institute of Management, Nirma University Ahmedabad. He holds a first class M.A. degree in Economics from the University of Rajasthan; a Master of Population Studies (MPS) degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi, Ph. D. in Economics from JamiaMilliaIslamia University, New Delhi and a post-masters Diploma in Economic Planning from Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. He has varied experience of over 40 years in trade, industry, teaching and research. Before joining the Institute of Management at Nirma University in September 2002, he was Manager, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), where he worked in various capacities for more than 24 years in the area of International Business. Biography Lucian has worked in a variety of industries including the steel industry, the IT consultancy industry and lately in the academia. He started full time teaching at Sheffield Hallam University, in the Sheffield Business School - SBS) in July 2008. This move represented a significant shift in Lucian's career, as he had been focused on consultancy and project work in the area of Information Systems until then, with occasional part time teaching at a number of Universities. He has worked on a considerable range of projects, with a particular focus on IT and IS with a purpose of enhancing organisational effectiveness and a better return of business competitive advantages on technology investments. He has led a number of consultancy projects with a business improvement through technology focus. He has both UK and international work and teaching experience and is now leading the Business, Operations and Systems subject group in the SBS. He is involved in the development and delivery of several business and IS related modules running across a variety of courses in the Sheffield Business School at all levels.
