I learned the molecular biological basics in the study of the influenza virus as a research resident of department of virology, Nagoya City University, at first. I took the degree of M.D., PhD. in 1994. After then, I researched several hepatitis viruses in Dr. Mayumi's lab, Immunology Division, Jichi Medical School (Japan), from 1994 through 1996.
