Dr. Sridhar TM is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Madras. He has 18 years of teaching and research experience. He was awarded the Pikovsky Valachi Post Doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. He is currently the Vice president, Indian Society of Analytical Scientist, Chennai Chapter, and Joint Secretary, NACE International India Section South Zone and Former Secretary of Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs, (SBAOI) India 2011-14.

He is from Chennai (Madras) and has completed his ME in Biomedical Engineering from Vinayaka Mission University in 2012. He had earlier obtained his MSc Analytical Chemistry in 1995 with University Second Rank from the Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Madras. He joined PhD at a University of Madras in 1996 and worked on the development of bioceramic coatings for biomedical devices. He was awarded best PhD Thesis award 2001-02 by NACE International (Houston, USA), India Section in 2001.  

Electroplating of Ni and NiW alloys, Development of new osteoconductive functionally graded hydroxyapatite coatings on Ti alloys by electrochemical and electrophoretic deposition, Graphene and its invitro and invivo characterization, Specialization in Electrospinning, Signal and Image processing and various aspects of Biomedical Engineering.  

Dr. Ravichandran K is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Madras, Chennai. He has 22 years of teaching and 27 years of research experience. He was awarded M.Sc -Analytical chemistry and also received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from University of Madras 1995. He continued his research as aCSIR Research Associate in the same department. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Steels Research Center at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan from 2004 -2006.

He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Steels Research Center at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan from 2004 -2006. Guest Researcher in National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan in the year of Jan 2015 (one week) and Dec 2015 (one week). He has been published in 60 international and national journals and 200 conference papers. ScienceDirect award for top 25 list of most downloaded articles Ranked 8th on the top 25 for Vacuum Journal– April to June 2013.
