SOJ Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (SOJMID) is an open access international journal that publishes high-quality research papers focusing on all aspects of microbiology. SOJMID is a multidisciplinary journal dealing with research on all kinds of microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, yeasts, archaea, protozoa and also simple eukaryotic organisms. Manuscripts related to topics like microbial ecology, environmental microbiology, genomics, microbial genetics, microbial physiology, host-microbe interactions, virology,mycology, parasitology, bacteriology, evolutionary microbiology, industrial microbiology, bioinformatics and synthetic microbiology are also considered for publication.

The journal strives to help the scientific society and its readers with peer reviewed, high-quality research articles on antibiotics, bacterial diseases, vaccines, clinical and vaccine immunology, risk factors and remedies related to infectious diseases. SOJMID strongly encourages researchers and scientists to publish their scholarly articles related to diagnosis, prevention, treatment and novel techniques to combat all sorts of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms.
