Now I’m a member of editorial broad of Journal of Trauma & Acute Care, reviewer of a few professional journals and Member of American Physiological Society and British Physiology Society. Rich experience in Hematology and Oncology especially in treatment of leukemia, anaemia, stem cell transplantation and diagnosis on leukemia by either cell morphology in bone marrow and peripheral blood smear or molecular biology. Recently focus on Cardiovascular Disease especially on Stroke/Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA) and Ischemia Reperfusion Injury skin flap treated with Bone Marrow Stromal Stem Cell. Achieved scholarship of Cardiovascular Disease in Louisiana State University 2015. Honored Cardiovascular Section Research Recognition Award by American Physiological Society and Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (APS/FASEB), USA 2014. Biography
Duan Maoli, MD/PhD, associated professor at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He is also professor/guest professor in another 6 Universities in China. He is clinical expert at Otolaryngology Head & Neck, Neurotology and Audiology. His research in basic focuses on stem cell/gene therapy, noise and drug-induced hearing loss and their protection/treatment. His clinical research focuses on sudden deafness, sensorineural hearing loss, vestibular disorders and earlier intervention and diagnosis of infant and children with hearing loss. He has published more than 70 articles in international journal such as Nature Medicine, PNAS etc. And also published around 30 articles in Chinese and Swedish. His research results have been put in cover pages of PNAS, Swedish doctor journal and Nobel Symposium, and text book of Cummings Otolaryngology Head & Neck (fourth edition). He has more than 30 students who finished degrees and on-going students include master, PhD and post-doc. He has world-wide collaboration such as Harvard University, Paris University, and National University of Singapore etc. He is sitting on editorial board such as Scientific Report (nature sister´s journal), Acta Otolaryngologica, Otolaryngology-open journal and as reviewer for more 20 international journals. Biography Initiated his training in Audiology in 1993. In 1997, initiated activity as audiologist at the Cochlear Implantation Team at Coimbra’s Hospital Center, in Portugal. Also in 1997, initiated his work in auditory rehabilitation with hearing aids. Later, from 1998 to 2000, earned a post-graduate degree in Psychology. From 2004 to 2007, completed a Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, with an investigation in Auditory Processing (adaptation of the SSW into European Portuguese). In 2009 initiated his Doctorate Degree in Speech, Language and Communication, where he has been developing investigation in Auditory Processing, with the development of a test battery composed of 6 instruments intended to evaluate auditory processing disorders in pediatric and adult populations. Since the beginning of his professional activity, has been invited to teach in several Portuguese higher education institutions. Is the president of the Portuguese Association of Audiology, since 2013. Is currently part of the organizing committee of the 2017 European Symposium on Pediatric Cochlear Implant, and will preside the 14th Congress of the European Federation of Audiology Societies, in 2019. Dr. Koichi Sakakura, MD/PhD is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Gunma University. He worked as Chief in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, National Hospital Organization Shizuoka Medical Center. He completed his PhD in the year of 2005. He published many articles and gave numerous presentations at international scientific meetings. Also, he is the member of editorial board of several journals and also as reviewer.

After graduating Gunma University School of Medicine and registration as MD in 1999, Koichi Sakakura, MD, PhD had trained in Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Gunma University Hospital and its affiliated hospital for 2 years as a resident doctor. In Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine, he started his carrier as a physician scientist in the field of otology (pediatric acute otitis media and equilibrium) and published 3 scientific paper. Then his research interest shifted to oncology, especially to cancer immunology. Under the guidance of his mentor Dr. K. Chikamatsu, Dr. Sakakura earned PhD degree in 2005. He had served as a clinical fellow in the department in the university hospital for 2 more years. Until 2007, he had published several articles about cancer immunology with Dr. Chikamatsu in patients with head and neck cancer (HNC): dendritic cells (DC) and NK cells in sentinel lymph nodes, DC maturation and T-cell subsets in circulation of HNC patients, induction ofp53 antigen-specific immune response by cytotoxic T cell (CTL) from HNC patients, and immunological characteristics of cancer stem cell. Dr. Sakakura moved to University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), PA, USA in 2007,worked in Drs. T.L. Whiteside’s and A.B. DeLeo’s labs, and involved in T-cell apoptosis by microvesicles form cancer cells and induction of MAGE-3/CSPG4-specific CTL by DC vaccine. Then he transferred to Drs. S. Ferrone’s and X. Wang’s lab in UPCI to engage in development of monoclonal antibodies against HLA class II antigen machinery molecules, and in immunohistochemical analyses of tumor antigen CSPG4 in various malignancies. He was named as a co-author in various high impact journals as Journal of National Cancer Institute and Cancer Research, and had stayed for 3 years in UPCI until 2010. He returned to Japan as a chief surgeon of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery in National Hospital Organization Shizuoka Medical Center, and awarded Grant-in Aid for Young Scientist from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for the development of cancer immunotherapy utilizing antigen presentation by autophagy. Dr. Sakakura was engaged as an assistant professor in 2012, and has been as an associate professor since 2016 in Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine. His current interest in cancer immunology is dynamics of myeloid cells such as macrophages, monocytes and myeloid-derived suppressor cells in tumor microenvironments and systemic circulation in patients with HNC. He has published 40 scientific papers to date mainly in oncology area, including Laboratory Investigation and Cancer Science as a corresponding author, and was recently awarded Grant-in Aid for Scientific Research to elucidate monocyte subsets in HNC patients. In addition, he has also conducted numerous daily surgeries. His subspecialty is swallowing disorder, and he is a founder and a chief of Swallow Support Team in Gunma University Hospital. Biography Dr. Babak Saedi is a Professor in the Facial Plastic Surgery Division of Department of Otolaryngology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He obtained his Board of Otolaryngology in 2004 from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. From 2012-2013, he then joined Stanford University as a Visiting Associate Professor in Facial Plastic Surgery Division of Otolaryngology Department. (USA). After that, he got his Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship. He has been the international member of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. His publication is over 60 articles in field of Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology in prestigious journal with more than 250 citations. Also, he is the author of 5 books in the same field. Biography Sertaç Yetişer is a professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He has worked at Anadolu Medical Center for over five years. The main subjects that he is particularly working on are otology, neuro-otology and lateral skull base surgery. He frequently performs ear surgeries for chronic otisis media of all types. He had also been certified as Board certified of Turkish Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He had around 300 national and international publications, oral and poster presentations, 50 chapters, 2 national books andmore than 100 national and 20 international invited speech, panel discussions etc. And he had 250 national and international citations. Biography
Dr. Mohd Normani Zakaria is currently the Chairman and Assistant Professor of Audiology and Speech Pathology Programme, School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He obtained a degree in Master of Clinical Audiology from The University of Western Australia in 2003 and PhD in 2007 from the same University. He teaches in various aspects of audiology and otology for undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research focus is on neurotology, electrophysiology, central auditory disorders, vestibular and tinnitus studies. He has been awarded more than 15 research grants and has authored and co-authored over 50 journal and proceeding publications. He is also the head of the translational neurosciences of BRAINetwork research group of USM, whereby he is actively involved in developing a dynamic model for the central auditory nervous system based on the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. Dr. Zakaria is also working collaboratively with engineers and medical experts in developing computer based products for hearing screening and auditory training, understanding the generation auditory hallucinations, investigating the effect of acoustic stimulation in treating cancer cells and many more. To keep him further active, he has supervised more than 80 students at Doctorate, Master’s and Bachelor’s level.
